Discovery of the Week: City Acres Market’s New FiDi Location

City Acres Market is one of those rare and wonderful instances when shopping for food becomes a true experience rather than a chore. This ultimate gourmet destination, which originated in Brooklyn, just opened up their new location, and foodie fans couldn’t be happier!

Where & When : opened July 11th at 70 Pine St.

What is City Acres? : City Acres Market’s new location in the Financial District has it all– a grocery store downstairs where customers can buy the freshest produce, cheeses, meats, and more, and an upscale food hall upstairs featuring a variety of vendors carting some really incredible food.

The Scoop : The market and food hall are open every day from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm. Vendors including Juice Brothers, The Cinnamon Snail, Beyond Sushi, Artichoke Basille’s Pizza, and Vanessa’s Dumpling House have all set up shop in City Acres Market– there’s a little something for everyone here!

The Cinnamon Snail’s creator, Adam Sobel, whose vegan treats have revolutionized NYC food truck fare, divulged that the food he’s been working on exclusively for the Snail’s permanent location at City Acres Market is “the best menu I have come up with for a location or food truck yet”. He also let me know that soon, they’ll be launching delivery and catering services to FiDi through this new spot in City Acres! I’m SO ready.

All these wonderful shops in one place create a pretty impossible selection process for patrons like myself who want to eat ALL their glorious culinary creations! I can’t wait to try everything City Acres Market has to offer!
