Special Feature: Tribute of TRIUMPH!

The intitial sense of hope and ease that has allowed my mental state to cope with the death of Micheal Jackson is the fact that I always related to him as a mystical being, like a magical spirit. Someone who is inaccessible, un-human.
A celestial being whose glorious essence was already beyond this world.

Everyone has a powerful, inevitable spur to their Inspiration- the breathe behind their essence. On behalf of him, I’m beyond thankful that he was able to accomplish more then enough in 50 years. He surpassed more barriers as a child star then most living legends have in the entire run of their careers. Some people need a hundred years to make an impact, MJ– he only needed half of that. He was my biggest inspiration, exhilaration and empowerment. His accomplishments were the lead behind my determination. The magic behind my mystery. Ultimately, he showcased a kinship to my mystical worth and its priceless value.

Now as I watch the past commentaries, editorials, re-enactments, profiles, write-ups, movies and interviews- where he devotes his feelings for the world to digest, I can’t help but sadden as this brings a reality check to the preciousness of his life. As well as the realization that anything can happen to anyone, at anytime, in any place. If anyone were to ask who my favorite singer were to be- Micheal Jackson wouldn’t even cross my radar simply because his talents are out of this world, he is above and beyond- symbolic, not comparable to any mainstream artist that common folk can relate to. Meanwhile, any artist to protrude some “Top 10” list after his name hailed at the #1 spot, still wouldn’t even fall close to being compared to him. With a jaw dropping repertoire of music, 4 decades of magic and a bevy of unique appearances, he won over the soul of the world herself.

In the words of MJ himself, to Ebony magazine in Dec 2007:

“You want what you create to live, be it sculpture or painting or music. Like Michelangelo,
he said, ‘I know the creator will go, but his work survives. That is why to escape death, I attempt to bind my soul to my work.’ And that’s how I feel. I give my all to my work. I want it to just live.”

An electrifying reign indeed, his TRIUMPH will live on through his legacy. In the words of the Jackson 5, “Can you feel it?”.

Peace and Positivity, forever!

1 Luv,

Tony Triumph
