Winter 17: Show the World Who You Really Are

Inspire. Be honest with your words. Put your foot down. Break habits like we break our fingers for Instagram. Take back control of your own mind! Soothe your life.

In the jungle, or in other words, our cities, it’s so easy to lose track. Lose ourselves. Lose our minds. All things fade, and now move faster than ever. Everybody, focus on preserving and conserving yourself ! Please don’t burn out your drive, your talents or your soul.

What I’m looking forward to accomplishing most in 2017 is letting my old self go. Taking pride in who I really am, and what I truly want out of life. Forgiving myself for my self doubt. Committing to myself, and releasing convicting thoughts toward myself. It’s been a journey, and this is truly a landmark year. I’ve learned, released and left behind so much. My personal prayer is that I keep these things pulled down.

I speak endless travel into existence in 2017. Travel by train, plane, boat, and land. Freedom. Removing anxiety- who is the sister to fear- from everything that I do. Planning ahead and leveraging excitement into action. When I feel rushed or consumed, I will do the opposite. Especially in this life arena of quickness and approval. Shut it down, relax and rejuvenate. I pledge to produce more content that’s true to this site’s vision, and push forward long withheld projects. I pledge not to overwork myself or add too much to my plate. My life will operate at a pace that is attractive to my well-being, and keeps me full of energy. We will not consume nonsense, and I will nurture myself with wisdom and environments that resemble the life that I’m building.

Draw close to anything that reminds you of a good time in your life where you were whole; focused, happy, financially stable, beautiful, well-fed, well-rested, loved, and glowing. Go back to that place and protect it. Lead yourself into peace and beauty.

Tune out. The world, the noise, the headlines. Tune out of what they say you should listen to, talk about, engulf. Never forgot your destiny, your purpose, and why you began your journey. Rebuke setbacks by the nature of your habits. Keep your blinders on. Equip yourself. Receive. These words give me hope in all aspects of my life. No matter who is in the white house. No matter who they say is terrorizing the world. No matter whom keeps getting put into positions of influence that don’t deserve them.

Meditate to the sound of your own individual footsteps. Tap into creation. Lock yourself inside of you. You, yourself- develop yourself. Real talk, 2017 is the year of redemption and reaping what you sow. Show us who You really are and what you’re ready for.
