While the wonderful world of media draws closer to meddling out their monthly features sooner and sooner, subscribers find it harder and harder to keep up with the timelessness of a printed article, VS the currentness of blogs and social media. CoverSmacks are here to help you keep up!
Many September 2020 magazine covers have shed long-overdue light onto black lives and social justice activism. Conversations about people of colour deserving more time in front of the camera, as well as behind it (Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles recently called on Vogue to hire more black photographers) are being had. As a result, September has produced several stunning covers that have acted as artwork to go alongside the meaningful content inside the magazine. Many of the issues address contemporary topics and honour black voices at large, as well as the faces that grace the cover.
