As one of the final shows at New York Men’s Fashion Week came to a close, crowds exited Skylight Clarkson Square and swept Washington Street for socializing and street style moments. A favorite among photographers was blogger, Youtuber and model Sharena Chindavong.
“I appreciate men’s fashion a lot because my personal style is very tomboy-ish,” she says. “I would describe my style as tomboy chic, if that’s even a thing.”
Sharena, who hails from Nashville, moved to New York two years ago. She has since then modeled for Maison the Faux, Sammy B, Geoffrey Mac and Byron Lars.
Sharena sported a mix of black-and-white patterns accessorized with a yellow Off-White belt and a Calvin Klein fanny pack across her body. Her hands were covered in simple yet noticeable gold rings.
“I like simplicity, minimalism and good details,” she says.
The young social media influencer concluded on the following note: “New York shapes style to comfortability. Since you’re walking a lot, you have to dress well but also comfortably.”
