Special Feature: The Fashion Bomb Daily’s “Bomber of the Day”

The Fashion Bomb Daily, one of the 99 most influential style blogs in the world, generated a very cool and colorful style feature on yours truly.

I was always nervous about being featured on a style blog, or any blog for that matter!

I’m a solitary person, grew up an only child, and didn’t play a whole lot of sports, so I never did well with people’s approvals or opinions. Even if it is for the love of fashion.

I’d rather risk my chances of getting punched in the face (lol, try me!) after advising you and your crew to “kiss my ***”, regarding your thoughts on my style.

Yet again I do have this background in modeling, so I am a bit used to being slaughtered and ripped a new, well, you know- at the slightest disapproval of things I can’t even change. So last week, as it correlated to my reservations about second opinions and the clothes that I wear, I charred away my punk-a-licious ways by allowing my dear friend Sissi Johnson to submit me for their Fashion Bomber of the Day.

Claire, who is The Fashion Bomb Daily’s Editor-in-Chief + someone whom I’ve run into everywhere from Paris Fashion Week, to the Essence Music Festival down in New Orleans, posted some really nice pictures of me in my vibrant, Summer mix of urban swank meets dainty & dapper style.

My first comment started off with a hater, who obviously wanted no parts of Tony Triumph for their breakfast:

Shout out to Dawn, whomever you may be, for setting ‘Wetin’ straight. But then again it is 2013, so where would the world be without an outlet for the sad and misinformed to push in their two cents. What ever happened to, “If you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”? Ha, Pardon my optimism.

The comments section of a blog can always be the epitome of the wild wild west, so if your one to easily lay into your feelings, blog features definitely aren’t for you. By the days end, I mustered up the courage to have a peep at the final poll section. I thought for sure I would’ve been fluttered with undercover haters, but I was wrong.
