After three successful months of drawing sold out crowd from all over the world, the Candytopia dream world will be extending its run in New York City through the holiday season. The perfect opportunity to step into the candy-coated dreamworld of Midtown’s latest food museum.
Tickle your sweet tooth in this Instagram-proof sugary dream candy factory. With New York-inspired sculptures like a candy Statue of Libery, build out of jelly beans and gummies and a yellow cab made out of banana candies and licorice, Candytopia is a life-size dream come true.
Candytopia is the most popular food experience to pop up in the city. It definitely will be a delicious adventure, that’s both a paradise for you and your Instagram followers. Is it just about all the pretty picture you can capture there? Definitely not! The walk-through experience through a dozen candy themed rooms gives you instant Willy Wonka feels.
The larger-than-life interactive art installations are pure sugary bliss. You can’t eat the candy sculptures, but each room has its own treasure trove of candy samples for tasting that will make sugar lovers of all ages go crazy. Sours, gummies, chocolate treats, nostalgic favorites and many sweet surprises are on the menu to explore your sweet tooth like never before.
Our absolute favorite treat is the enormous marshmallow pit at the end of the tour. Whether the marshmallows are real or not is something we won’t reveal just yet. But thís is the wonderland we’ve all been dreaming of ever since we were kids.
Of course, Candytopia loves the Halloween spirit just as much as we do. They have some sweet surprises up their sleeves for this spooky holiday, including visits from the Phantom of Candytopia who will be bringing some scary, sweet fun to candy world. Also, true Halloween spirits who come in costume will get special treats in addition to the candy assortment that’s already available in Candytopia. So let’s dress up and enjoy that candy!
The ticket release of the extended pop-up will start at 12:00pm on Tuesday, October 30 on Candytopia.com. Make sure to be quick, because the tickets are expected to sell out quickly (of course they will!) You can get your ticket for this colorful candy forest here. The Candytopia wonderland is located at Penn Plaza, at 145 W 32nd St.
Have some fun and eat plenty of candy. Thank us later!
