Discovery of the Week: Williamsburg’s Hotel The Hoxton is Brooklyn’s Newest Gem
We all know that New York City rooftops make for an exciting night out. This month, the Hoxton Hotel (which has its roots in Europe) opened their doors in hip and trendy Williamsburg. A true gem with retro vibes and luxury indulgence. This could be Brooklyn’s hottest hotel right now!
With hotels in Amsterdam and Paris, the London based hotel brand is now conquering US ground with plans to hit the West Coast in Los Angeles, Oregon and Portland. Last weekend presented quite an alluring crowd to Williamsburg for the opening of their first Hoxton East Coast hotel.
The Hoxton is known for its vintage yet modern and luxury feel. The Williamsburg’s edition of the hotel’s 175 guest rooms are sure to have to same retro-vibes as its London, Paris and Amsterdam locations. Their big focus is on restaurants, terraces, courtyard spaces and a can’t-miss rooftop bar from the heart of the hotel. Thé up-and-coming place for mingling and sipping killer cocktails on a Saturday night.
There’s an outdoor terrace on the second floor fully decorated with plush furniture and long chaises, intended for relaxing only. The restaurant and bar entitled “Backyard” serves classic cocktails and grab ‘n’ go food for a carefree and laid-back afternoon.
The panoramic rooftop is sure to attract every cool kid from Uptown to LES. With views of the Manhattan skyline, a finger-licking seafood bar in close proximity and plenty of rosé, this amazing location on Wythe Avenue already makes us thirst for the weekend.
